Oak Pointe Men's League

Situation:
The Oak Pointe Country Club is one of the top private Clubs in Livingston County with 36-holes of championship golf and a clubhouse that offers dining, full locker rooms and a workout center. Oak Pointe hosts a multitude of tournaments and leagues for their members each year. However, their members wanted a site where they could register for tournaments and leagues, view tournament tee times and pairings, and view results.

Objectives:
  • Develop a site that allows members to view tournaments, leagues, and other special events
  • Allow members to register online for these events
  • Allow members to view specific event information and itinerary of complete event format
  • Allow members to view results of events
Solution:
Motor City Interactive developed two websites for Oak Pointe. One website allows members to view a complete online schedule of all tournaments and special events (http://oakpointetournaments.com/). MCI also developed a Men’s League website that allows league members to view stats, results, and up-to-date league news (http://www.oakpointemensleague.com/).

Results:
Members can easily view tournament and league news; including registration, tee times, and results.
The new site allows members to view a complete schedule of the event; including the format, rules, prizes, and individual and team play information.
